Rowan made it to the spelling bee. He is a fantastic speller, but unfortunately got eliminated in the first round because of nerves ("rud" instead of "rude"). This is very reminiscent of his father's experience, when Dan, too, was eliminated in the first round because of nerves ("blouce" instead of "blouse").
