LOTS of wonderful things happened these first two weeks in March

1.  I have permission to defend my thesis! The date set is June 10th, 2011.
2.  My first paper is a review:

I am very happy to inform you that your manuscripts entitled "Advances and Future Challenges in Adenoviral Vector Pharmacology and Targeting" has been accepted definitively for publication in Current Gene Therapy.

3.  Also accepted is my first real, first-author manuscript:

I am pleased to inform you that your article, "Generation of a Kupffer Cell-evading Adenovirus for Systemic and Liver-directed Gene Transfer," MT-B-10-375R2 , has been accepted for publication in Molecular Therapy.

4.  And for the icing, news of my first talk at a conference came in too:
  

The abstract listed above has been accepted for an Oral Presentation at the ASGCT 14th Annual Meeting, May 18-21, 2011 in Seattle, WA, USA.  You will have 10 minutes to present your abstract, followed by a 5-minute question and answer period.
