Graduation Weekend

My cheerleaders got into town safe and sound on Thursday afternoon. We took it easy, just eating and chatting and doing pretty much nothing.  Since Pranay remembered Dan's apple/squash/pork crockpot dinner, we made it again...we are hoping to entice them to Rochester again after all.

Saturday was the graduation. After the ceremony we took off to Whitewater State Park to set up a picnic and our campsite. Dan's cousin happened to be having a baby shower the same day, so a lot of Dan's family was in town and joined us for the celebration.

On Sunday we returned home for some Lemon Ricotta Pancakes...they're so lemony you don't even need syrup. Then a chicken divan dinner at the Litwiller household.

Mike was there to "hood" me with my new plumage.

A partial solar eclispse coincided with our dinner, so we used some inverted binoculars to capture the alignment of the moon and the sun.
