A Tour of Chocolate in NY

Last few days in NY!  After almost 5 years of living here, I still barely know the place.  So I figured that on my day off, I'd go on a chocolate pilgrimage to see the city. Despite all the walking, I was stuffed at the end of it.

Jumped out at Penn station and then walked to Il Pesca in Eataly, which is a food square in the Flatiron district.  Fresh pasta was made before my very eyes.

Dessert at Venchi Chocolate, also in Eataly.  These guys have been around since the late 1800s and make gelato and decadent truffles

A lady in Union Square surrounded by pigeons.  Except that they are cloth pigeons for sale 😁

On to Blue Stripes Cacao Shop, which looks like a mini Wonka factory

Then a walk through Greenwich Village and to Jacque Torres, a huge candy store, for a famous (giant) chocolate chip cookie). Then home - even I couldn't eat any more chocolate!
