Homemade Ice Cream Without an Ice Cream Maker

We have started making our own ice cream. It's not any healthier for you, but it is a lot of fun to make :)

1. Whip up a pint of heavy whipping cream until there are stiff peaks. We use a hand mixer.

2. Add a 14 oz can of condensed milk to some flavoring and whip again. We have tried the following flavors:

- coffee (use 2 tablespoons of instant coffee dissolved in 1/4th cup hot water)

- mango (mango juice and 2-4 mangoes) 

- strawberry (puree 1 box, strain out the seeds; squeeze in one lemon) 

4. Freeze for at least 4 hours. 

5. Eat it all before the kids get to it.
