| Managed to fit it all in! |
 |
| We were at the most gorgeous campsite but unfortunately the winds too strong to set up camp. So strong, in fact, that our tent poles got deformed. Still, we had made it this far and were determined to go through with it and quickly found a camping store to look for a stronger tent - but they didn't have anything stronger than we already had. So, after getting a roof rack, a special cargo carrier to transport all our gear, packing up all of our stuff for a wintry trip, we packed it all up again and drove to a hotel. Fortunately, we were able to find a dog friendly hotel. |

| Foiled again. The morning weather was so blustery we could barely see ten feet in front of us, let alone any of the actual arches. |

And then, like magic, it started clearing up and all of a sudden we could see what all the fuss was about. |

| Canyonlands: wow...just, wow. We have never actually been to the Grand Canyon but this was so majestic that surely nothing could be better |
