The Bikescreamator

Dan has always had this idea that we should make our own bike-powered ice-cream maker. So we got some parts: one bike stand (garage sale), one manual powered ice-cream maker (outer bucket for ice, inner canister with paddle for ice-cream and a churning mechanism on top), some rock salt, a conveyor belt, one large pulley and one small pulley.

Adding the small pulley to the bike stand
Trimming off extra bits of metal from the ice-scream maker so that the pulleys will fit

Adding the big pulley to the manual ice-cream maker

Adding the conveyor belt between the two pulleys
Making the custard with the Girl Scouts
Loading the custard, ice and rock salt
