| One afternoon we struck out for a hike on Waimano Trails. This trail has ups and downs, tropical foliage, dense canopies, mud and wetness, and unusual bird calls |

| The trail is especially interesting because it has a bunch of tunnels formed from lava moving through and leaving behind (slightly creepy) tubes. |
