I bought a big assortment of flowers from Michaels so I could make a large flower mosaic for the only piece of wall space visible from our dining, kitchen and living area. The intent was to create a bold enough statement to carry interest though this entire length of space, without being overly dramatic or overwhelming.

I taped two long styrofoam boards together and then wrapped them in burlap. |
Then, I added the flowers, being careful to cluster them in mounds, like they would appear if bunches of flowers were seen from above. |
